Both tiers are self-hosted on your own infrastructure with no runtime calls back to us — the standard for healthcare deployments.

Included with the CGC Labs retainer

Hospitals on the CGC Labs consulting retainer get MeasureMap bundled at no separate fee. The retainer is $15,000 per month with no initiation fee — an embedded BI practice, with MeasureMap as the governance layer. See the retainer at cgclabs.org.

Everything in every license

Both tiers ship the full registry. The difference is the scale of the organization the license covers.

Authoritative measure registry

One record per KPI: name, definition, business context, formula, owner, source system, dashboard link, domain, and status.

Why each measure exists

The business context field records the purpose — internal improvement target or regulatory program such as CMS, MBQIP, or Joint Commission reporting.

Status lifecycle

Draft to Approved to Deprecated, with audit fields on every record.

Bulk CSV import

Column mapping, per-row validation, preview before commit, and a full error report.

Search and filters

Search by KPI name; filter by domain, owner, and status.

Role-based access

Admins manage the system and imports, Stewards edit records, Viewers search and read.

Self-hosted deployment

Docker Compose on your own servers, pointed at your own Postgres instance.

No runtime calls back to us

KPI metadata stays on your infrastructure, behind your firewall.

Frequently asked

Is there a per-user fee?

No. Pricing is per organization, not per seat. Most of your users are Viewers reading definitions, not Stewards editing them, and the license does not meter that.

Is MeasureMap open source or free?

No. MeasureMap is a proprietary product, licensed per organization and self-hosted on your infrastructure.

Is the license recurring?

No. Both tiers are one-time license fees. There is no annual subscription and no per-seat charge.

How does this relate to the CGC Labs retainer?

MeasureMap is bundled with the CGC Labs consulting retainer at no separate fee — the retainer is $15,000 per month with no initiation fee. The standalone license is for organizations that want the registry platform without the embedded analyst engagement. The license fee is not credited against a later retainer.

Can we see it before buying?

Yes. Book a demo for a 20-minute walkthrough of the registry governing a live measure end to end, or request pilot access to run MeasureMap on your own infrastructure.

How do payments work?

A single invoice, payable by ACH, wire, or card. We are a US LLC and can provide a W-9 and standard procurement paperwork. The one-time fee sits under most hospital procurement-board thresholds.

Buying a license

Four steps, one invoice.

  1. 1Email us with your organization name and the tier that fits (department / small hospital, or large system).
  2. 2We send an order form and a single invoice.
  3. 3On payment, we deliver the software package with installation instructions for your infrastructure.
  4. 4Deploy with Docker Compose against your own Postgres instance, then import your existing KPI spreadsheet by CSV.

Different terms needed?

If your procurement process needs something the standard tiers do not cover, email a one-paragraph description of your situation and we will respond with relevant terms.
